SpaceX Postpones Launch of Intuitive Machines Moon Mission #

SpaceX has announced the delay of a private robotic lunar lander launch by at least a day due to a technical issue. The spacecraft, built by Intuitive Machines, was scheduled to launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If the issue is resolved, the next attempt will be made on Thursday. The lander, called Odysseus, is set to become the first American spacecraft to softly land on the moon’s surface since 1972. Its landing site is near the lunar south pole, an area believed to be rich in frozen water.
